The 7th Annual Hancock County Sheriff`s Auxiliary Bike Ride is this Saturday, September 6th in Plymouth, Illinois. Fees are $25 individual, $50 family. The ride offers an 8-, 24-, 68-, or 80-mile ride through the beautiful rich farmland country of southern Hancock, McDonough, Adams, and Schuyler counties. The 24-mile ride can be ridden as a leisurely family fitness ride or as a competitive time trial ride with prizes given to the top time trial riders in several categories. The start will be a mass start for all riders at 8:00 am.

The ride is one of the most beautiful rides offered anywhere in Illinois. It travels through the hills and hollows on very lightly traveled well-maintained blacktop and asphalt roads. The ride will be rolling to moderately rolling terrain with some challenging hills. Two SAG vehicles and four SAG stops support the ride. Refreshment drinks, snack bars and fruit are all offered free at all SAG stops.
The Sheriff is a tough Hombre but if you are willing to help ride him out of town, then registration starts at 7:30 am at the Fire Station. The Fire Station is located on the northeast corner of the square in Plymouth, Illinois. The ride will begin and end in Plymouth.
